After trailing by eight at halftime, Hanover switched things
up and found success applying various full court presses and caused several
Hingham turnovers. Hanover’s backcourt
duo of Patrick Mullane and Ian Kirby led the charge and were the real
difference makers. Hanover ended up outscoring Hingham by nearly 20 points in
the second half in a great overall team win.

In addition to
losing to Hanover, they also dropped a game to unranked Weymouth.
Hingham has been
dominant all year, and still sit at 10-3 on the season and will still remain a
staple in our top 25.

The lone Rhode
Island team in Metro West entered this game undefeated, but Franklin got the
best of them, 34-24.
- Wayland Runs With and Past Randolph

Wayland handed Randolph their first loss of the season to
even these two Metro West D2 titans record at 6-1.
Randolph played an uptempo game and Wayland was able to run
with the. In the fourth quarter, Randolph rallied to take the lead by Wayland
was about to comeback to take the lead and close out the game behind clutch
free throw shooting and a key defensive stop.
Wayland’s Nick Dresens
led an excellent team effort with 22 rebounds and the go-ahead free throw in
the last minute.
